Dr. Rovner’s Philosophy

Dr. Rovner believes that each person he sees is unique. While Dr. Rovner has likely seen your spinal condition dozens of times before, your first meeting is new, different, and unique. You are a person, not a case. Every treatment plan is tailored to the person’s condition, preferences, and needs.

Not every person who makes an appointment spine surgeon actually needs surgery. In keeping with good medical and surgical practice, Dr. Rovner strives to start with conservative treatment options before surgical solutions. When surgery is indicated, he uses the least invasive surgical technique possible. Using the least invasive surgical approach usually means less pain, less blood loss, a faster recovery, and a better result.
