PSCR specializes in treating patients with non-operative care for pain that stems from the neck and back. Through knowledgeable personal care, our patients achieve superior results and finish their programs with a clear understanding of how to appropriately manage their spine in the future.
PSCR wants to help anyone who’s life is altered because of pain. While PSCR’s focus is back and neck pain, Dr. Woods, the Progressive Spine Care physician, is willing work with you to help alleviate any pain.
Please note that it is recommended that people who are suffering from back or neck pain and have an unstable medical condition, such as active cancer treatment (e.g., currently undergoing radiation and chemotherapy), progressive neurological loss (e.g., losing control of bowel or bladder), or acute rheumatoid arthritis flair-up, contact your personal physician and/or go to an emergency room immediately.
What makes us different?
PSCR is the only therapy facility in the mid-Missouri area that is operated by a physician and has a physician on call. For you, this means that the doctor works closely with the therapists /staff to ensure that you receive the care that she prescribed. She can check-in with you in between your doctor visits to make sure that you are responding well to therapy and prescribe a different therapy immediately if you are not. She is in the same office in case an issue arises. She knows the equipment that you will use and understands her staff and their techniques. You will not be sent to another clinic for physical therapy.
