Dr. Brenda Woods Attends Comprehensive Pain Medicine Review Course

Brenda L. Woods, DO, owner of Progressive Spine Care & Rehabilitation in Columbia , Missouri , recently attended the Comprehensive Pain Medicine and Interventional Pain Management Board Review Course in Nashville , Tennessee . During the week-long course, Dr. Woods expanded her knowledge of medical options available for patients suffering with debilitating pain conditions.

Dr. Woods is one of only a few doctors in the country who have been board certified in her specialty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation by both the American Osteopathic Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She is also certified by The McKenzie Institute of the United States of America in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy of the Spine. In 2004, Dr. Woods was honored as a Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She currently serves as president of the American Osteopathic College of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
